Ferrari: Renewed optimism with the investor day

(CercleFinance.com) – Ferrari reported on Friday ambitious prospects for the coming years and clarified its electric projects, which boosted its title on the Milan Stock Exchange.

On the occasion of a day reserved for investors, the Italian luxury car manufacturer said it was aiming for an annual turnover of 6.7 billion euros by 2026.

On the same date, the Maranello group hopes to generate operating income (Ebitda) of 2.5 to 2.7 billion euros for an operating margin between 38% and 40%.

Regarding its range, Ferrari said it plans to launch 15 new models over the period 2023-2026, including the arrival of a 100% electric vehicle planned for the year 2025.

All these announcements seemed to reassure investors who had been worried for some time about the costs associated with the automobile group’s shift to electric.

‘Some were beginning to worry about the possibility that investments linked to the electrification strategy would exceed the one billion euro mark per year’, recall the RBC teams today.

‘The objectives unveiled by the management team today rather suggest spending equivalent to that of recent years, that is to say located around 880 million euros per year’, underlines the Canadian broker.

On the stock market, investors welcomed these announcements, since the title rose by 1.5% Thursday afternoon in an Italian market down almost 3%.
