Festival of folk culture – back at last! That was the Aufsteirern 2021

Music as the soul of popular culture
As soon as you hear the great Styrian musicians, the Aufsteirern mood is perfect. For example, in the Landhaushof, the hotspot of the folk culture festival, the Fohnsdorf violin music set the mood in the morning. They were replaced by long-term guarantors for a great performance: the Upper Styrian Trachtenverband. Here young and old shake hands while dancing, here the men whirl the women across the stage. There is only one shortcoming: “Next year, make the dance floor a little bigger!” But it doesn’t matter, because the dance groups spread out across the entire courtyard. Hammering, clicking, clapping, singing were part of the colorful program.
