Flattening curves for deaths by vaccination status: According to an online graphic from the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG), Covid death rates have been falling continuously since mid-December.
The last published dates are as of December 19th. This still excludes the time window in which the Covid mutant Omikron becomes the dominant variant in Switzerland. Deaths by variant are not listed.

Graphic above: Deaths by vaccination status: the curves have been falling since mid-December. The dark line shows those who have not been vaccinated, the blue line those who have been completely vaccinated.
The number of laboratory-confirmed deaths is also falling as of December 22nd (below).
The maximum number of Covid victims in this wave was initially on December 14, with a total of 31 deaths. Since then, all the curves have been falling. On December 19, 19 people died. Over the relatively short period of time, however, this cannot yet mean a trend reversal.

The bed occupancy rate in intensive care units with Covid 19 patients continues to rise (graphic above). The lower dark area shows Covid patients. The curve is not falling.
