Due to the “persistently low order intake” in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Salzburg crane manufacturer Palfinger is reducing its production and is expecting a slight decline in sales this year.
Based on this decision, a slight decline in sales is expected for the full year 2024 compared to 2023 and thus earnings before interest and taxes of around 20 percent below that of the record year 2023 (210.2 million euros). Crane manufacturer, however, with earnings significantly higher than the same period in the previous year (Q1/2023: 48.9 million euros).
