FF7 Rebirth is going to be colossal, a dizzying statement

FF7 Rebirth promises an adventure full of twists and turns, and which will take time to end. We also had additional information about him, and it will not fail to pique the curiosity of fans.

Would you like to play some FF7 Rebirth again? Yes, we know, the brains behind the game really like to talk about the sequel to the remake. It must be said that fans have a lot of questions. What’s going to change, what’s going to happen story-wise, in short, it’s exciting. Besides, we still had information on the story of the game. At least, on the adventure that awaits us, and obviously, it promises to be dizzying. And be careful, we are not exaggerating.

FF7 Rebirth, an adventure that is done in several stages

Before getting to the heart of the matter, a reminder is in order. Unlike the first part of the redesign in 2020, we are dealing here with an open world. So obviously, the lifespan will not be the same. We will face a longer, denser scenario, with more playable characters. Coming back to the news of the day, the co-director of the title, Motomu Toriyama, made an appearance at the Taipei Game Show. He was present at the panel dedicated to FF7 Rebirth, and he returned to the adventures of Cloud and his gang.

He did not go into detail. His goal was to make us understand that the end of the game… wasn’t going to be the end. What he means by this is that once the curtain drops, he invites the players to restart the adventure. He explains to us that FF7 Rebirth was designed to be completed multiple times. But then, what exactly does he mean by that? In fact, we already found the same idea in the 2020 remake. Additional content was available if we started a second part. The sequel will not deviate from this rule.

Given that FF7 Rebirth will be longer, there should be a significant number of additions when restarting the story after wrapping it up. Afterwards, we cannot yet be sure, but that is what is looming. In any case, it promises long hours of pure happiness. We are soon entering the home stretch, since it happens on February 29. Just a little more patience.

The gameplay is revealed again

This isn’t the only thing we learned at the panel dedicated to FF7 Rebirth. Toriyama also revealed an addition that wasn’t in the original: a brand new passage to Costal del Sol. He didn’t say more, but it’s salivating. In addition, we were able to see new gameplay images, such as a special combo between Aerith and Cait Sith, Yuffie in action, or a Chocobo race. Definitely, we’re going to get our money’s worth, even if what interests some fans the most is knowing what will happen during the story. As a reminder, it will end at the famous Forgotten Capital, the former capital of the Cétras. Then, we will have to wait for the third opus to have the conclusion.
