It’s official, FF7 Remake 2 (Rebirth) and Final Fantasy 16 will be at the Tokyo Game Show 2022. But will they give any news? Nothing is less sure.
The Tokyo Game Show is fast approaching and publishers are starting to unveil their schedule. Konami is on everyone’s lips with its enigmatic teaser suggesting the return of Metal Gear, Silent Hill or even Castlevania. However, Square Enix has formalized its program and there are beautiful people, including FF7 Remake 2 (Rebirth) and Final Fantasy 16.
Soon news of FF7 Remake 2 and FF16?
As is usually the case on this first day of September, Square Enix has unveiled its Tokyo Game Show 2022 line-up. The Japanese show to be held from September 15 to 18 will therefore give pride of place to future productions from the publisher, which only mentions the titles already revealed for the moment. Perhaps a few surprises will be added to the whole. Visitors will therefore be able to find several games including FF7 Crisis Core Reunion, FF7 Rebirth (aka FF7 Remake 2) and Final Fantasy 16.
If the first will have a playable demo, it is uncertain whether the others will be announced. It is indeed for the moment impossible to know if the trailers which will be presented will be new or not, or even a mixture of the two. FF16 should in any case give its news this fall, but there is no guarantee that this will coincide with the Tokyo Game Show. If vagueness reigns as for new images of FF7 Remake 2, the program is crystal clear to him with some streams dedicated to the next releases.
