With Topolino, Fiat intends to extend electric mobility and freedom of movement to the youngest customers.
Like other models, the small electric quadricycle can be taken over without a driver’s license.
Fiat revives the Topolino name
If for some, the name “Topolino” evokes the Italian version of the famous Mickey, for others, it is also the nickname of the very first generation of Fiat 500 (whose electric version is a success), produced between 1936 and 1955. This name once paved the way for urban mobility and is back today to continue the electrification of the brand.
Designed for the city, the small Fiat Topolino intends to extend mobility and freedom of movement to the youngest customers. Indeed, like a Citroën AMI, this new Fiat cart does not require a driver’s license.
An electric quadricycle with an urban trend and cut for the youngest
The electric quadricycle perfectly embodies the Dolce Vita and the Italian spirit of Fiat “, according to the manufacturer. For the time being, the latter has only unveiled a single snapshot of this new Topolino. We discover the front of the vehicle, which we quickly distinguish the retro inspiration, without forgetting a total absence of doors. According to Fiat, the design of this new Topolino will make it possible to restore the taste of the automobile to the youngest. Just that.
As you can imagine, this small Italian quadricycle should not be a model of comfort, but it nevertheless promises to be perfectly suited to urban use. It also presents itself as an electric mobility solution suitable for the whole family, with a speed that should be limited to 45 km/h.
At present, the Italian manufacturer has not given any information as to the availability date of this new Topolino. Same on the price side, even if we imagine that the latter should be close to that practiced by Citroën with its small AMI, namely around 8,000 euros.
