We haven’t had the chance to find out yet. FIFA 23but according to some rumors, it will include content related to the FIFA World Cup 2022 male and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023improved graphics and cross play. This last point is already beginning to materialize.
Electronic Arts has just confirmed thathe will test the cross play for the Online Seasons and Online Friendly Matches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Stadia from FIFA 22. Only these 2 modes will be compatible during the test phase on platforms next gen, to avoid generating problems during more competitive games, but the feedback received “will help inform how cross-play could be implemented in future titles”. History therefore does not yet say whether FIFA 23 will offer it only in these modes, or more globally.
Still, the test of cross play can very soon be activated via a widget to be found at the bottom right of the game’s main menu, or via the options of matchmaking of online gambling. You can then easily invite a player from another platform to join you for a Friendly game through his account EA or its gaming platform, while the Online Seasons will now be able to oppose you to players from other consoles during certain encounters: everything is explained in more detail in official website FAQ. If you prefer to change nothing or return to normal, the cross play can of course be deactivated at any time.
