FIFA 22 is now available for free to millions of Xbox players

FIFA 22 is now available free of charge for millions of gamers – the football simulation is now part of EA Play and therefore also included in the subscription service for all Game Pass Ultimate members.

As of today, FIFA 22 is allowed to do a lap of honor and is now being made available to over 25 million players at no extra cost: the football simulation is joining them today to the EA Play service and will therefore also be available to all Game Pass Ultimate members.

The football season came to an end with the last Nations League match day – now fans are released into an admittedly short summer break. So that you don’t have to do without king football completely in the coming weeks, you can now throw yourself back onto the football pitch at no additional cost, as long as you either EA Play or Game Pass Ultimate members are.

EA Sports FC: The future after FIFA

While FIFA 22 is already in its last phase of the game, FIFA 23 is already waiting for the kick-off. While not much is known about the upcoming game and this year’s gameplay and graphics changes, the release will be similar to previous years approximately between mid-September to early October expected in 2022.

Of course, the biggest headlines in the last few weeks have been written by the public mud battle between publisher Electronic Arts and the world football association FIFA. After the upcoming FIFA 23 will be change the name of EA’s soccer sim, because the cooperation between the parties came to an abrupt end. For the time being, however, nothing should change in the licenses available in the game – however, FIFA would like to bring a new game onto the pitch with another publisher. It remains to be seen whether the association will be successful in doing so.
