FIFA World Cup Kick Off!
The FIFA World Cup™ Kick Off Mode gives you the option to play against friends locally or against the CPU AI. You can play at any stage of the competition and choose a team from one of the 32 qualified teams or from any other national teams available in FIFA 23. In summary you can play world cup matches as you see fit .
FIFA World Cup Tournament
In addition to the Kick-off mode, you will have a Tournament mode which will allow you to create an online or offline world cup with the qualified nations or even other nations. So you can make your own world cup and all that as you see fit!
FIFA Ultimate Team
But what is most anticipated is really the content on FIFA Ultimate Team for the World Cup. You can earn your first squad of FIFA World Cup™ Player Items in the FIFA World Cup™ Starter Pack, which you earn and open upon your first login.
There will be many additional opportunities to earn FIFA World Cup™ Player Items in Season 2. Some packs you earn through rewards, as well as some store packs, will be refreshed to start include FIFA World Cup™ Player Items as guaranteed bonus content. during season 2 until December 23. This means that packs containing FIFA World Cup™ Player Items will contain their regular content plus FIFA World Cup™ Player Items on top. There will also be more FIFA World Cup Player Item Packs available in Stage Objectives and as repeatable Squad Building Challenge rewards. These FIFA World Cup™ items are limited-time content that expires at the end of the experience, and you can find more details about that in the FAQ part of this article below.
Obtain FIFA World Cup™ Player Items for completing redemption goals and other Season 2 content. Some FIFA World Cup™ Player Items may have attributes boosted by compared to their base version, and the more FIFA World Cup™ Player Items you collect, the better. your end-of-event rewards can potentially be (more on that below). The majority of FIFA World Cup™ Trading Tokens will be earnable in offline and online objectives that you complete using FIFA World Cup™ Player Items. You will also earn a token the first time you log in between November 11, 6:00 p.m. UTC and December 23, 6:00 p.m. UTC.
One permanently updated FIFA World Cup™ Star Player Item from each of the 32 FIFA World Cup™ participating nations will be available for redemption as part of the FIFA World Cup™ redemption rewards. FIFA World Cup™ in Squad Building Challenges. Stay tuned in-game for details regarding other available rewards, including packs and player picks.
FIFA World Cup: the awards
You can track the number of FIFA World Cup™ Player Items you earn in the main FUT menu on the new FIFA World Cup™ tile, which will appear in-game from November 11. The thumbnail also tracks the FIFA World Cup™ Duplicate Player Items earned.
The FIFA World Cup™ in-game tile will also display all 10 reward tiers to progress as you earn more FIFA World Cup™ Player Items. As you complete each level, you can unlock more rewards. If you complete all 10 tiers, you are eligible for all available rewards, including packs and player picks. Only limited-time World Cup Player Items count towards end-of-event rewards.
End-of-Event Rewards will be redeemable from January 4, coinciding with when FIFA World Cup™ Player Items will expire and begin to be removed from your club, which is detailed later in the FAQ section of this article. Collected FIFA World Cup™ Player Items will no longer be tracked when rewards are ready to be redeemed, and rewards can be redeemed from the FIFA World Cup™ tile itself.
FIFA World Cup™ FUT Campaigns
We will have a FIFA World Cup™ takeover during FUT Season 2. We have planned a range of campaigns and programs for players that aim to help you follow the excitement of the tournament as it unfolds on the pitch, as well as celebrate special moments and performances . All of our campaign-themed items will be permanent in FUT 23, allowing you to continue building squads with them even after the tournament ends. We look forward to sharing more details with you throughout the tournament.
FIFA World Cup™ Heroes
FIFA World Cup™ Heroes are enhanced versions of select FUT Heroes, celebrating a key contribution they have made in previous FIFA World Cup™ tournaments. For the first time in FUT’s 14-year history, all FIFA World Cup™ Heroes will have unique Marvel Artwork.
FIFA World Cup™ Heroes will be available in FUT in two team versions starting November 11. As with the campaign content, they will be permanent in FUT 23. They will replace their base FUT Hero version in packs. Some FIFA World Cup™ Heroes may only be available as Player SBC rewards or Objectives.
If you pre-ordered the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition before August 21, you will receive your untradeable FIFA 23 World Cup™ FUT 23 World Cup Hero Player Item from November 11, 2022. This Player Item will be one of the 21 FIFA World Cup™ Heroes who are new to FUT 23, regardless of which team version they appear on.
