The first big novelty for the mode FIFA 23 Pro Club is that it will now be linked to the Volta mode! You will no longer have to evolve 1 player on each of the modes, but 1 and only one. It may only be a detail, but it can make a big difference, you can more easily switch from one to the other.
Technical games are coming to Club Pro
One of the most frequent comments the developers received from Club Pro players was that there was not enough to be able to play when friends weren’t online. This is why on FIFA 23, you will have access to technical games in Club Pro. This will allow you to train to master a whole range of gestures and become as skilful as possible in the field.
But these technical games (66 in total), will also allow you to get XP for your pro (with a weekly cap) to level him up and therefore be better for your next match when your friends connect.
Apart from being able to play without your friends, it also allows you to be able to play when you only have a few minutes to spare and your Pro will earn XP.
The Evolution of Your Pro Redefined
On the previous opuses, there were a lot of remarks about the evolution of our virtual Pro, the 3 most frequent were that
- Maxing out your level took too much effort.
- The frequency of upgrades was slow; there was too much time between meaningful and actionable player improvements.
- Perks were unlocking too slowly to allow for a good experience.
And so in order to respond to player feedback, some improvements have been made
- The amount of XP required to level up has decreased significantly.
- The amount of XP required to reach the maximum level has been decreased.
- Level cap increased from 25 to 100.
- Players can earn a maximum of 185 skill points.
- All Perks will be unlocked during the first 25 levels. Beyond level 25, players will continue to unlock more perk slots and earn more skill points.
4 new Perks
Speaking of Perks, you will get 4 new ones on FIFA 23.
- Poacher – increases your overall finishing ability (including boosts for volleys, finishing and heading accuracy) when in the penalty area.
- Light passes – increases your teammates ability to trap and control your passes.
- Interceptor – improves your ability to intercept and disrupt your opponent’s passes and shots when defending and close to the ball.
- Chase Down – increases your pace when defending immediately after losing possession. This option is deactivated after 40 seconds of play if you have not recovered the ball.
Few news for Volta
For the Volta mode, apart from being linked to the Club Pro mode, there is not really anything new. EA Sports has added some arcade games which are quite fun like obstacle courses etc., but it’s still quite minor. We will have to wait until next season for real novelties for Volta.
