Like every year, a new FIFA will arrive a few weeks after the start of the school year. And like every year, some new features are implemented, with the aim of attracting even more players. For FIFA 23, Career mode (club and player) will be somewhat overhauled, with changes to several aspects.
What’s New in FIFA 23 Career Mode
Let’s start with the player mode, which will offer a more advanced experience, especially in progression. Your player will be able to evolve according to performance and choices on the field, according to three points (Maverick, Virtuoso and Heartbeat), which will affect his personality and therefore the path that his career will take. In addition, many actions will take place off the field, allowing him to buy various things (house, cars, etc.), in the style of NBA 2K, to provide an experience beyond football. Of course, these actions will also influence the personality.
On the Club Career side, a new feature has been introduced, allowing you to play the best moments of a match, similar to what was already done by playing the decisive actions during the simulation of a match. In particular, this will allow players to save time if they do not want to play the 90 minutes of a match.
Many things have also been added off the field, to enrich the experience with the “dynamic moments”. Finally, countless internationally renowned coaches will be on hand, for greater immersion. It will even be possible to embody one. Finally, as you can see in the video below, which illustrates these new features, Career mode will benefit from a new menu, approaching FUT mode.
New information about FIFA 23 will be communicated in the coming weeks, while its release is scheduled for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series and Nintendo Switch on September 30.
