Unsurprisingly formalized on July 18, the next installment of the license is the last to bear the name FIFA, given that EA Sports will change its brand next year. For FIFA 23the developers had given us an appointment this Wednesday, July 20, in order to discover the first images of the game. Promised thing due, since a first trailer is available and, more surprisingly, a release date have been revealed.
Images and a release date
Let’s start with the release date of FIFA 23 which will arrive on Friday, September 30, as the rumors had mentioned lately, since FIFA definitely no longer knows how to keep secrets. After two outings in October, because of COVID-19, we therefore find a window that we know a little better, with the last Friday of September. The wait is no longer very long.
But initially, EA Sports had given us an appointment to discover FIFA 23 first trailer, which mainly serves to make our mouths water, since no real gameplay footage has been shown. You will have to wait a little longer for that. Note that the game engine is still the HyperMotion, in an improved version, introduced last year and allowing a more realistic rendering on the new generation of consoles. A World Cup mode will also be available later in the year.
As for new features, we will know more during the summer, but FIFA 23 will offer a host of new things to players. An expected feature should be implemented, with cross-play, while the FUT mode should offer many changes, which will be detailed in a few weeks.
