FIFA 23: This streamer risks a very large fine following the announcement of an event!

Coveting the resounding successes of superstars like Ibai, Squeezie, or more recently Amine, many streamers are rushing to organize big “IRL” events. But these XXL shows require a lot of support and preparation. Last week, one of the biggest German streamers, Trymacs (known among others for having spent 80,000 euros on FIFA 23), had to urgently cancel an ice football event scheduled for December. The catch is that the production company in charge of the show has turned against him and demands a fine approaching 500,000 euros.

A crazy project that falls through

The idea of Trymacs was however very fun. The streamer was planning a football match… But on the ice! All broadcast on Twitch, and with production means closer to major live TV than small streams from the living room. It obviously reminds us of the extraordinary events of Squeezie and Amine. Except that the show planned by Trymacs fell through in the worst possible way.

A little too rushed, the streamer has already sold thousands of tickets for the event, which was to be held on the Lanxess Arena ice rink. However, last week, the production company behind the event decided to let go of the streamer and its somewhat too hastily invited audience. It’s up to Trymacs to pay the bill, because the Raab TV company threatens him with a fine of up to 500,000 euros.

A catastrophic change

Trymacs did not disassemble, however. In an emergency, the streamer decided to maintain the event, but it will be held in a lambda room, instead of an ice rink. Bye bye football on ice therefore, and the German streamer will have to settle for a much less original football event.
