In FIFA 23 FUT, EA has finally released the Team of the Year. These players get TOTY cards with extremely high values.

The time has come. EA has announced the FIFA 23 Team of the Year (“Team of the Year”, short: TOTY). The eleven players pictured above are dealt TOTY cards with fairly high values.
After the 2022 World Cup triumph, it’s hardly surprising that Argentinian star striker Lionel Messi is included. In addition to him, Kylian Mbappé and Karim Benzema form the storm.

You won’t find German players in the world selection, but you will find a star from the Bundesliga: the Englishman Jude Bellingham.
TOTY icons confirmed
In addition to the regular Player of the Year, EA is also releasing some TOTY icon cards as part of the FIFA 23 event. These players are given the special cards:

- Claude Makeléle
- David Beckham
- Edwin van der Saar
- Gerd Müller
- Hugo Sanchez
- Javier Zanetti
- Nemanja Vidic
- Robert Pires

- Xabi Alonso
EA has been releasing the TOTY cards since January 20, 2023. You either get them with extreme luck from card packs or at very high prices on the transfer market.
