It’s time for the recap of the day of September 14, 2022! We have an American giant that will have to get its hands on the wallet, an anti-cheat tool that should delight fans of football simulation as well as a famous application store that will host advertisements. Let’s go !
Google ordered to pay a fine of more than 4 billion euros
Google was fined in 2018 for abuse of dominant position. Accused by the European Union of promoting its browser and its online store, the Mountain View company was to pay 4.3 billion euros. She logically appealed and after several years of legal battle, the European Court of Justice finally ruled: Google will have to pay. The fine was however reduced by 200 million euros.

Advertising will be more present on the App Store
Apple wants to give developers more ways to showcase their creation. It goes through advertising. The iOS application store, the App Store, should thus have new spaces for advertisements. For the moment, it is not yet known how these pubs will be integrated, but we should know more by September 21, date of an event which will present the thing. The only certainty is that this interface should be deployed before the end of the year.

FIFA 23 will have the right to a more effective anti-cheat tool
When we lose a match at FIFA, it’s never our fault… Sometimes it’s true! Cheats abound in the game and EA has decided to strike a blow for FIFA 23. The publisher has developed a new tool called EAAC (EA anti cheat) for the PC version. It will ban fraudsters and protect those who play it fair. Console players who meet PC players online will also be protected, as FIFA 23 will be cross-play.
