The 2022 French champion with Lorient and former Monaco and LOSC player has announced the end of his professional career on FIFA. But he will remain committed to esports with his structure.
The French FIFA player Nathan “Sneaky” Nayagom announces the end of his professional career on the esports football game scene. The Atlantis Wave competitor, which he co-founded with footballer Salif Sané in 2020, revealed his reasons in a twitlonger this Monday evening on his networks. After six years of high-level competition, he believes he must now give way to other young players coming onto the esports scene.
My dream when I was younger was to become a professional video game player, so I’m grateful to have been able to make it my career for 6 great years.
This allowed me to meet incredible people, travel to many countries, measure myself against the best players in the world and also grow.
I would have liked to go even higher and perform even better, but I feel like I really gave it my all so I can’t have any regrets.
Sneaky remains in the world of esports, however, retaining his position as esports director at AW., a position that he will now be able to manage full-time “to carry out other projects”, he specifies. His former teammates or actors from the esports scene hailed his end of career on the networks following his message, like ManiiKa or the Vitality coach, Brian Savary.
Sneaky, who worked for AS Monaco, LOSC and IFY eSports, had been a player for Atlantide Wave since 2020 and for FC Lorient since the start of 2022, a club with which he won the French eFoot championship this season.
No thank you for all the celebrations on Team 21 but congratulations on your career the Sneak and GL in all your projects! ??
