FIFA: the agreement between EA Games and the Federation is over, the franchise will be called EA Sports FC

Since last year, players have been expecting the end of the franchise Fifa. Electronic Arts was indeed considering ending its partnership with the International Federation of Football Associationfiling in stride the name EA Sports FC. Well, it’s now official, there will be no fifa 24.

Cam Weber, Executive Vice President ofEA Sportsjust shared a long message on the official website from the studio, announcing the end of collaborations with the Fifaafter nearly 30 years and more than 150 million players. We will now have to rely on EA Sports FCbut the content will be basically the same:

Next year, EA Sports FC will become the future of EA Sports football. Alongside our more than 300 licensed partners in sport, we stand ready to take global football experiences to new heights, on behalf of all football fans everywhere.

Everything you love about our games will be part of EA Sports FC – the same experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes will be there. Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs and VOLTA Football will all be there. Our unique licensing portfolio of 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues that we’ve continued to invest in for decades will always be there, only in EA Sports FC. This includes exclusive partnerships with the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, MLS – and many more to come.

This new independent platform will bring new opportunities – to innovate, create and evolve. It’s more than just a symbol change – as EA Sports, we are committed to ensuring that EA Sports FC is a symbol of change.
