The new FIFA, or rather the new EA SPORTS FC24 is revealed! The sequel to the famous football game from Electronic Arts is full of new features, both technologically and in terms of content. And we even know the release date and price of the game!

FIFA is dead, long live FIFA! Or rather alive EA Sports FC 24 ! The name may be a little less dreamy, but it is indeed the sequel to FIFA 2023, the latest football game from Electronic Arts. The idea of ​​a new name was already in the cards last year, when Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, announced that he wanted to give a new start to the cult football game. It’s done. But the new surname is only the tip of the iceberg. The publisher also takes the opportunity to renew the game more in depth by bringing new features in both graphics and gameplay.

As usual, Electronic Arts has also unveiled the one that will adorn the cover of its future game. Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s Norwegian striker, who succeeds Kylian Mbappé. The European striker says he is “proud to play a major role in launching a new era for the world leader in football games”. EA Sports 24 emphasizes hyper-realism

What are the promised novelties? First, theHyperMotionV who wants to reproduce in game “the rhythm and fluidity of real football […] using volumetric data from over 180 professional matches, men’s and women’s […]”. Note that this technology is only available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or S, and PC versions. This concern for realism is supported by the system PlayStyle”. Each player is thus characterized by a set of dimensions that reflect his real game and his “signature” gestures. Haarland’s powerful strike will be exclusive to him, for example. Of course, the graphics engine Frostbite has been improved to get even closer to photo-realism.

Finally, and this is a first: it is possible to create a team mixing playersvia the mode Football Ultimate Team (FUT) integrated into the game. EA Sports FC 24 releases September 29 at €79.99 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One. Also on Switch for €59.99 and PC for €69.99. An “Ultimate” edition for €109.99 (€99.99 on PC, not available on Switch) gives access to the game a week in advance, on September 22. You can already pre-order it on the Electronic Arts website.
