Figeac Aéro: EBITDA returns to green in the first half of the year


(AOF) – Figeac Aéro rose 2.28% to 5.83 euros per share on the Paris market, in the wake of its provisional results for the first half of 2020-2021 (April to September). The aeronautical equipment manufacturer published a net loss (group share) of 21.9 million euros over the period, against a net loss of 51.1 million a year earlier. For its part, current EBITDA returned to green at 11.7 million euros, against -6.7 million euros a year earlier.

As for revenue, it stood at 119.9 million euros in the first half of 2021-2022, an increase of 27% based on reported figures and 30.4% at constant scope and exchange rates.

“The group’s level of activity over the first half of 2021-2022 confirms the gradual recovery of the aeronautics sector, which makes us more confident for the future”, commented Jean-Claude Maillard, CEO and founder of Figeac Aéro

“In addition, all of the initiatives undertaken within the framework of the ‘Transformation 21’ performance plan are bearing fruit and allow us to post a strong improvement in our operational profitability”, added the manager.

As of September 30, 2021, Figeac Aéro had available cash of 46.1 million euros enabling it to meet its short-term maturities. For their part, net financial debts came to 344 million euros (337.2 million excluding IFRS 16).

In the end, Figeac Aéro reaffirmed its confidence in achieving its annual objectives. For its current financial year, which will end at the end of March 2022, the aeronautical equipment manufacturer is still targeting a turnover of between 250 and 300 million (i.e. growth of between 22.2% and 46.6%), an EBITDA double-digit current and positive free cash flow.
