Figeac Aero: new agreement with KNDS in defense


(CercleFinance.com) – Figeac Aéro announced on Wednesday that it had signed a new agreement with KNDS, a Franco-German group specializing in land defense, for a total value of several tens of millions of euros.

The aeronautical equipment manufacturer specifies that this new agreement, unveiled at the Eurosatory exhibition, is an amendment to a contract concluded in 2020 relating to parts intended for armored vehicle programs.

It should represent an additional average turnover of around one million euros compared to its level in March 2023.

As a reminder, Figeac’s new strategic plan, called ‘Pilot 28’, provides for the development of new businesses mainly in civil aeronautics, but also in the defense and industrialization services segments.

The KNDS group was born in 2015 from the merger between the German KMW and the French Nexter, forming the European leader in land defense with a workforce of more than 9,500 employees and an annual turnover of 3.3 billion euros. .

KNDS’ portfolio includes battle tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, equipment and munitions, as well as associated support and training services.
