Fighting the Danger – Stopping Growing Extremism in Schools

The education directorate and the police want to combat youth radicalization. Valuable networking work was carried out at the round table on the topic of “Youth and the risk of extremism”.

In addition to stopping illegal immigration from “extremist countries”, the focus was on possible radicalization tendencies in local mosques, schools and sports clubs. The Office for Violence Prevention therefore offers targeted training for educators: This fall, for example, a focus was set on the University of Education. “It is high time to deal intensively with the problem of radicalization,” says Asylum Regional Councilor Christoph Luisser, welcoming everyone’s collective efforts those involved.
