The director of Didier And RRRrrr!!! worked hard for Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, a Franco-German blockbuster which brought together nearly 15 million French people in cinemas in 2002. It must be said that Alain Chabat had pulled out all the stops: 500 people mobilized to build the sets, 2,500 costumes, 1,500 wigs… and an extraordinary cast gathered in Morocco and then in Malta.
