It has been inspiring people since 2001 ZDF series “SOKO Leipzig” viewers. Filming has now started on the new, 25th season of the long-running crime series, as was announced in a press release on April 18th. “SOKO Leipzig”: Then season 25 starts

In the new episodes, the commissioners have to deal, among other things, with a vigilante group that was formed after a series of cellar break-ins in a Leipzig apartment block. Meanwhile, Jan Maybach’s daughter Lotte (Carlotta Bähre, 19) seems to have chosen a problematic circle of friends. The teenager is repeatedly picked up by the police. Actress Bähre is joining the cast of the ZDF series for season 25. She embodies the daughter of the “SOKO Leipzig” main character from the very beginning.

In another case, a convicted felon manages to escape. As a result, inspectors Ina Zimmermann and Kim Novak find their lives in danger. In addition to those already mentioned, Anna Stieblich (59) as forensic doctor Sabine Rossi and Daniel Steiner (51) as laboratory technician Lorenz Rettig also return.

The 25 new episodes from season 25 of “SOKO Leipzig” are scheduled to start on ZDF in autumn 2024. The broadcaster will announce a precise date at a later date. The usual broadcast slot on Friday evening at 9:15 p.m. remains unchanged.
