Films on the big screen: Inexpensive Philips projector now available at Aldi

If you want to create a real cinema feeling at home, you don’t have a chance with a television, because you actually need a large picture on the screen for films to have their full effect. However, good projectors can easily cost 1,000 euros or more. The Aldi offer is significantly cheaper. The discounter offers a Philips projector with Full HD resolution for just 249 euros.

The Philips NeoPix 530 can project an image of up to 100 inches onto the screen in True Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). With 2x HDMI, a USB-C and USB-A port you can also connect streaming devices, your laptop or cell phone.

Using keystone correction, you can easily correct distorted images and set up the projector at many different angles. The projector has a 2.1 sound system with two speakers and a woofer. The device is powered by an LED lamp that has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours.

Of course, you can’t expect a device costing 250 euros to be able to keep up with those costing 1,000 euros or more. Above all, expensive devices are often brighter and have a 4K resolution. However, if you darken the room a little and keep a certain distance from the screen, you can also experience great cinema fun with the inexpensive Philips projector.
