Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis: Prepare your Chocobos because Cloud returns to mobile!

Announced in 2021, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is a new single-player episodic mobile game that will allow players to experience the world of FF7 and its related stories. It was during the game’s 25th anniversary celebration that fans were able to admire a few minutes of gameplay of this umpteenth remake.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

Ever Crisis is a Singleplayer RPG mixing chibi design and traditional look that traces the timeline of Final Fantasy VII. You will therefore find Zack, Cloud, Tifa and the other important characters of the opuses which cover the universe of FF7. Although the general design is rather close to a chibi version, in combat, it is quite another thing since we find the characters in modeling much closer to that of the remake. The combat system seems to be borrowed from the original system with the ATB gauge filling up to be able to perform actions.

Described as “The other possibility of a remake” by Square Enix in person, we must admit that Ever Crisis is rather promising and it might have been able to steal the show from the “real” remake of FF7 if it was not only released on mobile.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

A closed beta before the end of the year

Although we don’t have a release date for this new mobile game, Square Enix has specified that a Closed Beta will take place on iOS and Android later in 2022. Still a little patience so you can probably try it before the end of the year. Note that the title will be entirely free-to-play. Since Ever Crisis retraces all the events of the FF7 saga, we can therefore imagine that it will be available before the remake of Crisis Core, scheduled for this winter, and especially before the second part of FF7 Remake called Rebirth.

With many exclusive rewards for Overwatch 2, the new Observatory Pack is making a lot of noise on the networks…
