Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be released on February 29, 2024, exclusively for the PS5. However, according to a previous announcement from the development studio, this exclusivity could be limited in time.
You can play a crossover event until the official release. As can be seen from a YouTube video, Square Enix has entered into a cooperation with Respawn Entertainment, the developers of Apex Legends.
Crossover event – innovations and features
Starting January 9th, Apex Legends will give you the opportunity to collect different colored materials that give you new abilities. You can also equip the legendary Buster Sword to defeat your opponents with a sword in Apex Legends.
In addition, you can also expect various cosmetic content and new “iconic skins” that are inspired by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. This event can be played on all platforms for which Apex Legends is currently available. In addition to the PC, this also includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.
