Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo is available now

Expected for a few weeks now, the first part of the demo of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is now available. This first half will allow players to discover the opening chapter of the title.

A Hero’s Fall in Nibelheim will be the opportunity to play a younger version of Cloud Strife as well as Sephiroth during events which take place 5 years before the adventure of the game. Both soldiers, they must investigate the appearance of monsters in the mountains which dominate Cloud’s hometown. But what they discover will forever change the course of their lives and the destiny of the entire world.

And as Square Enix obviously likes to do things in a big way, a second part of the playable demo will be released on February 21. This should offer players the opportunity to explore an additional part of the world of FF7 Rebirth. This second half, entitled The beginning of a new era in Junon, as its name suggests, will allow you to stroll around the surroundings of the port town of Junon. Be careful though, the Junon region has been modified for the demo to make it more compact. It will therefore not be possible to transfer your progress to the full version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

On the other hand, players who have save data from the demo will be able to obtain a mogrigri as well as a survival set for their full version which will be released, remember, on February 29, 2024 on PlayStation 5 only. They will also be able to choose to skip the sections explored in the first part of the demo, The Fall of a Nibelheim Hero.
