A new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was released during this year’s Game Awards. After Square Enix previously introduced new features such as the “Dynamic” difficulty level, the development studio has now also revealed the game’s official theme song.
“No Promises to Keep” is once again a creation by composer Nobuo Uematsu, who wrote the original theme song for Final Fantasy 7. Loren Allred, known among other things for her single “Never Enough” from “The Greatest Showman”, takes on the vocals.
New insights into the game
Both the trailer and Square Enix’s official website offer new details about the game. This includes, among other things, the first appearance of the pilot Cid Highwind, new insights into the self-appointed guard Vincent Valentine and the return of the well-known locations “Gold Saucer” and “Corel Prison”.
