Still expected on February 29, 2024 on PlayStation 5, the sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake begins by offering us a video recap of the main events that took place in Midgar, a story narrated by Red XIII that future owners of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will also be able to consult in-game before starting a new game. Square Enix also gives us a new gallery of visuals, starting with a familiar illustration of Aerith in front of the Highwind ship, a direct reference to the artwork which already decorated the pages of magazines in the 90s.
