Final Fantasy: a big announcement unrelated to Final Fantasy XVI and VII Rebirth teased by Yoshinori Kitase for 2023

While Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion just released, fans of the series already have their eyes on Final Fantasy XVI, the new solo adventure produced by Naoki Yoshida. Its release date has indeed been set for June 22, 2023, and you can already pre-order your copy from €79.99 per Fnac.

The other producer Yoshinori Kitase also has projects on fire in connection with the saga, including on the front line Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, still officially scheduled for next winter. In the course of his wishes for the year 2023, published on the serial website alongside those of other franchise executives, however, he said he was preparing “another big announcement unrelated to FFVII” for the coming months ! And given the context, it concerns a priori the series Final Fantasy.

Happy New Year everyone.

Final Fantasy XVI is coming out this year, which means Yoshi-P needs your support now more than ever. Cheer him on as he performs at his best!

Also, development is accelerating on the title I’m producing, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I’m sure a lot of your collective imaginations are running wild trying to imagine how we’ll recreate some of the game’s most iconic scenes, and we’ll have more to share about that when the time is right.

There’s also another big announcement unrelated to FFVII that I can’t comment on at this time.

Rest assured that we are working hard to make 2023 the most exciting year yet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Producer Yoshinori Kitase

Will we already be entitled to the announcement of a Final Fantasy XVII in 2023? At the revelation of a remaster or remake of Final Fantasy Tactics Where Fantasy IX as some fans hope and imagine rumors? The formalization of a spin off more original? Or a more unexpected project that would not be a video game? Only the future will tell us !
