Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier also participates in the 25th anniversary of the cult RPG

If the action of this battle royale takes place at a time when Cloud, Tifa and Aerith have not yet come into the world, this special collaboration serves as an exception and allows you to find the heroes of the game in a low poly format evoking its PlayStation game origins whose developer was not yet very comfortable with 3D.

The collaboration began on February 16 with the arrival of a first Premium Shinra Packs including character skins for Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret and Chocobo as well as a Rouge XIII back bling. The second Premium Shinra Packs arrived today featuring Sephiroth, Vincent, Yuffie, Cid and a Cait Sith back bling.

Users must spend 300 Shinra Credits or 5 Premium Tickets to purchase one of these packs and have until February 28 when the event ends. In the great tradition of gachathe content remains random even though a safety net guarantees obtaining a legendary item at least once every 25 attempts.

As explained on the game’s site, other nostalgic rewards can be obtained during the duration of the event by defeating special enemies inspired by the Guardsmen, Guardian Scorpions, and Pampas found in the 1997 game.
