During the Fan Festival of Las Vegas 2023 which was held at the end of July, an astonishing collaboration was revealed between Final Fantasy XIV and the crazy game of Mediatonic, Fall Guys. The latter has already been entitled to his character costumes from the MMORPGbut we were still waiting for the content planned within the Gold Saucer, developed with the help of developers from the studio. Fortunately, it seems that the wave of layoffs carried out by Epic Games did not affect it sincea date has just been given to us during the keynote of Fan Festival from London.
This collaboration between Fall Guys And FFXIV will therefore arrive with patch 6.51, which until now had not been dated, but was expected at the end of the month. The next contents of Growing Light will therefore be available Tuesday October 31. From this date, it will therefore be possible to take part in an obstacle course in the Blunderdome of Gold Saucerbut not permanently. Indeed, this activity for 24 players with matchmaking will be available cyclically, probably so that it does not monopolize all the attention. Various exclusive rewards can be won there, some of which are shown in the trailer.
