Paris, June 20, 2023 – Square Enix France and Edmond Luu, Designer of the Pieces Uniques brand, are pleased to unveil the exclusive FINAL FANTASY XVI collection. Called Primordial Artefact, this exclusive collaboration celebrates the game’s release on June 22, drawing inspiration from the heroes of the world of Valisthéa. Edmond Luu will present his unique creations on June 22 during Men’s Fashion Week in Paris. The public will be able to come and admire the pieces from July 1 to 2, 2023 at the Sabine Bayasil gallery in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.

Each outfit was photographed by the talented and renowned Jérémy Soma. Inspired by the 90s, vibrant colors and sharpness, Jérémy’s work could be defined as the beginning of surrealism. Inspired by real landscapes, he tries to think of each image as an individual story. Not afraid of extreme textures and angles, he strives to always go further in his vision.

Jérémy was able to perfectly capture the personality of the heroes of Final Fantasy XVI as well as the majestic powers of their Primordials, which Edmond Luu had already succeeded in brilliantly interpreting through his creations.

Fascinated very early on by costumes and imaginary universes, Edmond Luu launched his own men’s ready-to-wear brand, Pieces Uniques, in 2016 while he was still working as artistic director for Parfum Christian Dior. He feeds on mangas, video games and science fiction films, their universe and their fantastic characters, which he sketched when he was a child, in order to offer monochrome silhouettes playing on minimalism and the structure of each creation. Through these, Edmond composes dreamlike paintings where each piece has a story, revealing a utopian elsewhere where the characters evolve with outfits that reflect their identity.

And if it’s Final Fantasy XVIthe game, which interests you, it can be ordered for €68.99 per Fnac.
