FINAL FANTASY XVI takes us to a world where the Primordials, powerful creatures, slumber in the bodies of a chosen few called Emissaries. These men and women indeed possess an exceptional gift: that of embodying these forces of nature and thus benefiting from their powers. The story follows Clive Rosfield, a young man whose skill with the sword earns him the title of Blazing Guardian. As such, he has a duty to protect his younger brother Joshua, the Phoenix Emissary. But unexpected events will upset Clive’s destiny and lead him on the dark path of revenge.
