Final Fantasy XVI has just been recorded in Brazil, the release date is approaching

If we put aside the hypothesis that Sony could finally give us a PlayStation Showcase this year or that Square-Enix decides to do without a partner for the promotion of his game, Final Fantasy XVI has every chance of being present at the Game Awards. Naoki Yoshida has already confirmed to us that the release date for this highly anticipated episode should be revealed sometime this year, and with only December left, we expect that to fall during the Geoff Keighley show. In addition to this upcoming announcement, the game has just been recorded in Brazilenough to give some clues about its content.

The most violent episode?

We knew that this Final Fantasy XVI would like to be more violent and more mature than the others, but we have once again proof of this with the registration of the game with the Brazilian classification body (Sistema de Classificação Indicativa Brasileiro), as VGC tells us.

In this country, the game will therefore not be recommended for those under 16, due to the presence of content “ sexual and violent ” and of ” sensitive subject ». For the violent side, we have already seen a glimpse of it in the first trailers, while we can expect to see some slightly naked characters, which was also presented in one of the trailers.

The fact that the game has been registered with different organizations could also show that the release is getting closer and closer, and that Square Enix would finally be ready to give us the date. Answer in the next few days.

Final Fantasy XVI will arrive on PlayStation 5 sometime in summer 2023.
