Already broadcast in the United States, the spin-off series from “The Walking Dead” centered on Daryl will soon arrive in France!
What was our surprise last September, during the event launch of the Daryl Dixon series in the United States, to see that the horror program would not be broadcast simultaneously in France. A surprise all the greater since the action of this new spin-off of The Walking Dead takes place in France!
In our region, the franchise has seen numerous broadcasters: the original series and Dead City were broadcast on OCS, Fear the Walking Dead on myCANAL and The Walking Dead: World Beyond on Prime Video.
The arrival here of Daryl Dixon will now mark the introduction of a new broadcast platform, since the program will be offered exclusively on Paramount+ from November 10!
In this new series designed as a direct sequel to the final season of The Walking Dead, Daryl is transported several thousand kilometers from his home, in France. In this foreign country where he does not speak the language, the lone wolf played by Norman Reedus will do everything possible to find a way to return home and reunite with his loved ones.
Filmed largely in Paris, but also in Normandy and in several emblematic places in our country (Mont-Saint-Michel, Champ de Mars etc.), Daryl Dixon brings together a French cast notably composed of Clémence Poésy, Ethann Isidore (Indiana Jones 5), Anne Charrier (Chefs) and Eriq Ebouaney (Le Flic de Belleville).

Originally announced in one of the main roles of the series, Melissa McBride (Carol) only appears in a handful of scenes. It has nevertheless been confirmed that the latter will play a role of greater importance in the second season, already made official by the American channel AMC.
Remember that a new spin-off derived from The Walking Dead will be broadcast in early 2024. Entitled The Ones Who Live, this mini-series centered on Rick Grimes and Michonne does not yet have a broadcaster in France.
The first two episodes of Daryl Dixon can be found on November 10 on Paramount+. The series will then be available every week on the platform, with one episode every Friday.
