finally a real teaser, enough to drive you crazy!

Mass Effect 5 has finally shown itself, or almost. BioWare is heating up the sauce and it’s driving you crazy! Fans are already looking for the slightest clue by looking at who is passing.

BioWare may not be in top form, but that doesn’t stop it from continuing to tease its favorite licenses like every year. In the spotlight lately, Dragon Age Dreadwolf, coming soon, and Mass Effect 5, which will follow suit. Two big RPG licenses that share as many things as they have differences.
And on this N7 Day partially shaded by a sad dismissal case, the studio has finally shared information, and this time, we have the right to a real teaser.

A legendary trilogy, a highly anticipated sequel

Mass Effect is above all a trilogy led by Commander Shepard, a human hero who will save the entire star system from total, or almost, extinction. Whatever the case, the end of his epic had caused a lot of ink to flow at the time. It must be said that following the legend of a character for years, making it evolve through 3 games by carrying its backups, and ending its race as the third part proposed, it could go badly. But since then, water has flowed under the bridge, BioWare has patched up its ending and everyone is almost happy.
Years later came Mass Effect Andromeda, the ugly duckling of the bunch that failed to recreate an epic. The studio understands, the only thing fans want is a direct sequel to the first trilogy and perhaps even the return of familiar faces.

Mass Effect 5 finally shows itself a little more! But not too much…

One of them was also confirmed during N7 Day in previous years. Liara T’Soni, one of Shepard’s first teammates. The beautiful Asari obviously didn’t give up and even found something or someone precious. Shepard? The Normandy? Good question.
In 2023, new N7 Day, this time BioWare shared a succession of puzzles leading to a video of a few seconds. We can see the silhouette of a woman appearing to be equipped with an N7 outfit, the famous well-known elite group of the license. While fans are already examining every pixel of the video and every word written by the studio, one mention is causing a lot of discussion: Epsilon.

What is it about ? Good question. There are fan theories and fan fiction mentioning a secret project closely linked to the N7, a hidden cosmodesic relay and a whole bunch of similar things, but nothing concrete. For the moment, it seems that this codename is the new name of this sequel. The game would now be called Mass Effect Epsilon. But even that, we are not sure at the time of writing. We’ll see if any new clues come out soon. To be continued…
