finally, the affordable smartphone would be released at the end of 2023 at an unbeatable price

Leaks regarding the Galaxy S23 FE release date follow one another and are not alike. After being announced for this year, then rather for next year, a new report from South Korea claims that the smartphone will finally be launched in the last quarter of 2023. Samsung would indeed be finalizing partnerships with its suppliers. .

So, Galaxy S23 FE or not Galaxy S23 FE? A priori, yes, Samsung is preparing a more affordable version of its latest flagship. According to the first information published about it, this model could even land this year, resuscitating at the same time a range set aside after the release of the Galaxy S22. But this rumor was quickly contradicted by another report, which claimed that it will be necessary to wait until 2024 before we can get our hands on the smartphone.

But today is a new day, and with it comes a new rumor. The latter comes straight from South Korea, published by the media Sisa Journal. According to the source of the latter, Samsung would indeed plan to launch its Galaxy S23 FE this year. Specifically, the manufacturer is reportedly targeting a release for the fourth quarter of 2023. And the report doesn’t stop there, as it also brings some good news.

Samsung could lower prices on the Galaxy S23 FE

Starting with, you guessed it, its price. Indeed, the report claims that the manufacturer would offer its smartphone for sale for a price between 800,000 and 900,000 won, or 570 and 650 euros. If this information is confirmed, the price will therefore be drastically lowered compared to its predecessor. As a reminder, the Galaxy S21 FE was marketed when it was released at 759 and 829 euros.

Of course, this strategy reflects a desire for expansion on the part of Samsung. Also according to Sisa Journal, the Korean firm plans to ship between 2 and 3 million units of its smartphone in 2023, and up to 7 million in 2024. Moreover, the report recalls that the Galaxy S23 FE should be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, accompanied by a 120Hz AMOLED display.
