Find X6 series, Pad 2: Oppo will unveil its new flagships on March 21 in China


The end of March will be very rich in announcements on the smartphone side. After Xiaomi and Huawei, who will both hold a conference on March 23, Oppo is joining this spring ball. The Chinese firm will, however, take the lead with an event scheduled two days before, on March 21.

The company announced the news on its official website. The Find X6 series will obviously be its headliner, with normally two models, but the conference will also see the presentation of a new tablet. Indeed, Oppo will unveil its Pad 2, a new top-of-the-range model. The brand should equip it with a Snapdragon 888, a high-end processor that is already two years old. Design level, it will adopt a photo island placed in the middle of its back and which seems quite bulky, to see the visuals… and recalls the Pad of OnePlus, the sister brand of Oppo, formalized in February and expected in the spring next on the market. Rumors indicate that the Pad 2 will have an LCD panel, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a battery of 9500 mAh as well as fast charging at 67 W.

For smartphones, the standard model will integrate a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip, while the Pro version will be entitled to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This variant, much better equipped, will have a leather finish on the back (visible on the visual ) or an imposing photo island including three modules boosted by the MariSilicon X, Oppo’s in-house chip.

The conference will be held at 2 p.m. Chinese time, which is 7 a.m. at home. The announcement being reserved for China, it’s a safe bet that Oppo will return to the front of the stage for an international presentation in the coming weeks.
