We learned this week that the Google Pixel 6a should offer at least one improvement over the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro launched late last year. The manufacturer should indeed improve the performance, reliability and speed of its fingerprint reader. It must be said that, in recent years, the technologies offered have improved a lot. So much so that, on its latest high-end smartphone, the X80 Pro+, Vivo offers a larger surface area and better responsiveness.

In 2018, we asked you about your favorite unlocking method for your smartphone. You were then a large majority to favor the fingerprint reader, at 65%. Behind, 10% of voters said they favored the scheme and facial recognition was only favored by 8% of you.
