But as life is going perfectly for the former GNTM participant, there are very dark days behind her. In 2016, she completely unexpectedly lost her mother, who died at the age of 56. A year later, she had to say goodbye to her former husband, who died in a traffic accident at the age of 35. Fate strikes that shaped Fiona and made it all the more grateful for her happiness today.

But for many women who are going to be mothers for the first time, there are fears of the unknown. This also applies to Fiona. On YouTube she bluntly tells what concerns her specifically. "Of course, the first twelve weeks are totally scary. If the child stays, it doesn't stay." And the worry was not entirely unfounded, the model initially had to struggle with complications. "I had an extremely heavy fall bleed and I was absolutely certain that I had lost the child. We were extremely sad. I was then told by the doctor that a hematoma in the uterus had caused the bleeding. The baby was healthy." After that, the couple were "scared to death about the baby", but luckily the doctors gave the all-clear.

Bald mommy in constant concern

But the worries don't stop there. Of course, you are constantly worried and hope that everything will go well in the end. "Then the next step starts. If everything is on, everything is in order – organs, everything fits, everything is in the right place." But such thoughts are certainly normal and are part of pregnancy. "I think it's always okay to be a little bit scared. Because you can be a little more careful with certain things."
