Wonderful news from Fiona Erdmann: The model is allowed to hold his second child in his arms.

She probably feared for this happiness for a long time. After a miscarriage in spring 2021, Fiona Erdmann, 33, announced her pregnancy again last December. Now her daughter is finally born – and apparently healthy and happy.

Fiona Erdmann: Your baby is here

“Welcome little Angel,” writes the new mother of two to an enchanting photo that shows her with her grown family. Little Leo, 1, has apparently already taken a liking to his little sister and welcomes her into the world with a sweet little kiss. “Our hearts are filled with love! Leo, Moe and I are overjoyed and grateful to be able to hold our little princess in our arms now. What a magical moment,” Fiona describes her emotional world. However, she has not yet revealed the name of her sweetheart.

Miscarriage left its mark on the GNTM candidate

Now their family happiness is perfect! The former GNTM candidate has been living in Dubai for almost four years. In August 2020 she became a mom for the first time. Together with her partner Mohammad she was happy about little son Leo. Her firstborn made her want more. In April 2020, she announced her second pregnancy. Posted on Instagram she a picture on which her partner and her son put their hands on her stomach, which has already grown significantly. She wrote, “Hey Leo… are you ready to be a big brother soon?”

The whole family was excited about the addition. But only a short time later Fiona suffered a miscarriage in the 18th week of pregnancy. A traumatic experience, especially since the young woman opted for a “silent” birth of her lost baby. “[Ich] thought: I can’t go to a hospital right now and have the baby surgically removed! Luckily I had a very sensitive gynecologist who said I could take as much time as I wanted and wait for nature to take care of itself,” Fiona later explained to “Bild”.

The “silent” birth of her lost child was traumatic

The traumatized mother carried her dead child with her for 14 days, waiting for labor to start and for her baby to “get on its own”. Fiona was closely monitored medically. But when the time came and she was able to give birth to her dead child, something bad happened to her again. “I didn’t like how I was treated in the hospital. They were very cold to us,” she said in retrospect of her experiences. When her child was born, there was no doctor in the room. “Only my partner and I were in the hospital room during the still birth. That was really a blatant number for us.”

Fiona has become more careful

Experiences that shaped Fiona. This is evident as she is much further along in announcing her new pregnancy than she was in announcing the previous ones. Your baby ball is significantly rounder at this point. “I’m so excited to finally be able to announce our news to you. Our angel is back and we are pregnant with a new little miracle [sic]”, she literally cheered in her comment on a beautiful family photo in front of a dreamy desert backdrop. She feels “blessed and grateful”, especially after this tough year.

Now Fiona and Mohammad can finally hold their longed-for child in their arms – and after the painful loss of his deceased little brother, Leo has a small hand that he can always hold on to from now on.
