Fire brigade moved out – meow in the engine compartment: rescued a cat from the car

The Neutal volunteer fire brigade was called to an unusual mission on Sunday afternoon. A cat had crawled into the engine compartment of a car and had become so wedged that it could no longer free itself.

The car owner noticed the animal’s “cries for help” just in time before he was about to drive away. Nine members of the Neutal volunteer fire brigade came to free the cat from its predicament. In order to get to the animal, a few parts had to be unscrewed. The frightened animal may have been trapped for some time, but apparently had no injuries. The Florianis then handed the cat over to its concerned owners.
