Fire Emblem Engage: a fascinating dive into its universe for its 2nd trailer against a backdrop of war for the rings

In 2019, owners of a Switch discovered Fire Emblem: Three Houses with its scenario split into several routes according to the class for which we became a military teacher. The already substantial lifespan was also extended at the start of 2020 with the Burning Shadows DLC. Since then, tactical role-playing game enthusiasts have been patient and have still been able to find this universe through the alternative history to the sauce musoo of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes at the beginning of last summer. Intelligent Systems wasted no time and developed in parallel a certain Fire Emblem Engageunveiled at the Direct September and which is already expected at the very beginning of 2023. Two months before its launch, it is therefore not surprising that it is entitled this Wednesday to brand new trailer.

Trailer in English with subtitles

In the skin ofAleara human-looking dragon who lost his memory after waking up, we will have to find the 12 rings to once again save the continent of Elyos from the Darkbrone Fallen Dragon (any resemblance to a certain Middle Earth is purely fortuitous…), a request made by a mysterious woman during her last wishes. To help us in this task, we can call upon Emblemsheroes from other worlds such as marth, which appear precisely by putting on these rings. The video depicts various colorful kingdoms of this land, such as Firene, brodia, solm and Elusa, as well as some generals that we will find on the battlefield. The script is promising and the trailer leaves us on a pretty cliffhangerwith a marth visibly possessedwhose hair turned red.

By the way, you will notice that the seiyū ofAlear is Hiro Shimono, who lends his voice to Zenitsu in Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba.
