Fire Emblem Engage Provides Video Content Update, Multiple TV Spots Shared

Next week will release the first big game of the year on Switch, Fire Emblem Engagewhose main particularity is to make us play alongside old characters from the license thanks to the Emblem Ringsa central element both for the gameplay than the script. The Japanese branch of nintendo actively communicates about the game and has recently released several promotional videos, starting with a traditional trailer overviewto discover below.

The introduction briefly shows us the various kingdoms constituting the continent ofElyosto know Firene, brodia, Elusa, solm and Lythos in the center, the choice of the sex of our avatar Alearthe vile sombronI’Marth emblem and a cinematic passage taken from the introduction, before going into the heart of the gameplay. An overview of different battles is therefore given to us, with basic explanations of how they work, a highlighting of the multiple comrades in armss that we will meet and who will join our army, and obviously the types of melee or ranged attacks. The class change is then discussed, then the merger which then offers new capabilities to its user. Next comes an overview of the features of the hub that is sleepy, already shown in December, which expand over the course of the adventure. And to conclude, a few cinematic passages raise the hype, while a reminder of the use of amiibo is done.

In addition to that, a long video dedicated to tactical confrontations can be seen above, along with two 30-second TV spots and a longer internet ad.

As a reminder, the release date of Fire Emblem Engage is set for January 20 and you can find our impressions below. On this same date, a Expansion Pass will already add new Emblems. The game is available for pre-order on Amazon at the price of €44.99.
