The docu-soap “First Aid, Last Rescue – Paramedics in Training” shows the daily work of young paramedics from September 22nd.

The broadcaster RTLzwei has announced a new docu-soap about young paramedics. “First aid, last rescue – paramedics in training” is to run on September 22nd and 29th in prime time at 8:15 pm, according to the press release. The episodes can also be accessed seven days before the TV broadcast in the premium area of the TVNow streaming service.

That’s what the new format is all about

The programs focus on six young people in their second year of training as emergency paramedics. “The everyday work with human destinies can be very stressful,” says the broadcaster. Long night shifts and taking on responsibility make the trainees difficult.

The new format is intended to show how the budding paramedics deal with their often difficult work, how they cope with the experiences in their private life and how much they deal with emergencies as soon as they have finished work. The spectators will be “up close”.
