Heino performed his first concert after his wife’s death. His appearance in Dresden was dedicated to the memory of Hannelore.
A difficult day for Heino (84): The pop singer gave his first concert on Friday (November 24th) after the death of his wife Hannelore Kramm, who died at the beginning of November at the age of 82. The musician started his church tour with the appearance in Dresden’s Kreuzkirche. According to the “Bild” newspaper, the singer appeared on stage in a black cut after the Leonard Cohen song “Hallelujah” was played.
A portrait photo of Hannelore was placed at the edge of the stage. There was also a candle burning, which was decorated with the name “Hannelore” and golden hearts. A bouquet of 44 red roses was meant to symbolize the couple’s 44 years of marriage. As RTL reportsthe singer’s painful time was evident; he was also handed a handkerchief during the concert.
According to “Bild”, the singer ended the concert in front of around 1,000 spectators with two encores and explained that he would continue the church concert tour under the name “Die Himmel rühmen” with another 15 dates, as it was the best opportunity, “my Hannelore “to thank you for the happiness of my life”.

The first concert was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, November 17th. take place in Mönchengladbach – just two days after Hannelore’s funeral. Instead, the concert was announced in the Kreuzkirche in Dresden. His manager Helmut Werner announced that the first concert in particular would be highly emotional for Heino. “But he really wants to return to the stage because Hannelore would have wanted him to continue singing.” The performances should also be helpful for the musician himself: “Heino now needs the affection, comfort and sympathy of his fans to alleviate his immeasurable pain.”
How “Bild” previously reported, Hannelore died on November 8th at the age of 82 at home in Kitzbühel, Austria. The couple were married for 44 years and were almost inseparable. The couple met at the Miss Austria pageant in Kitzbühel in 1972 and got married in 1979. It was Heino’s third marriage. Hannelore accompanied him to many appointments and appearances.
