You may have gotten the info through your LoL client which informed all players on the EUW server, but a berserk has already managed to reach the rank Challenger in Europe ! The ranked season started a little over 3 days ago, and despite our advice, some have already sanded the game like never before, for better or for worse.
But we won’t blame the streamer Ag0nyPain for his huge rush. He put on a great performance and won the Chall race. We don’t know if he’ll be able to hold onto his rank all season long, but he’ll at least have some flex for a little while. In just over 3 days, he still played the trifle of 72 Ranked… which equals plus or minus 24 games per day. Even if we tell him GG, we hope that for his sanity he will take a little break before burning out his neurons and losing his soul in the soloQ zoo.
A Qiyana hand that broke some mouths
Ag0nyPain is currently the only Challenger on the server. If he reached the sufficient number of points yesterday to claim this honorary title (500 LP in GrandMaster), he however had to wait for the daily update to formalize his title. And he had a lot of room on his first pursuer, who has for the moment “only” 321 LP (SunFlower). Edit: in the comments it was indicated that it would be French Skeanz !
The first Challenger of the year 2022 is a Main Mid who played a lot Qiyana (40 games for 70% winrate) and Kassadin (21 games for 67% winrate) in order to climb. When we look at his history, he has met a lot of good people, including many pro players. After a quick glance, we notably noticed Markoon (EXCEL), Gilius (SK Gaming) or even Kobbe (Astralis). Obviously, the soloQ remains the soloQ and that does not mean that Ag0nyPain has the level to become pro and to land in LEC. But that does not detract from its success and remains an interesting indicator.
We don’t have much more to say about it at the moment. We do not know his age or his nationality. His Twitter page is poorly informed and there is no camera on his stream … We do not know how long this phenomenon will last, but we imagine that his goal now is to stay with the number throne as long as possible. 1.
