Currently fifth most present game in players’ wishlists Steam, Frostpunk 2 updates with first screenshots. And let’s be honest: they make you want it.
Alongside some Hades 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong And City Skylines 2, Frostpunk 2 is one of the most anticipated games currently on Steam. However, its developer 11 bit studios still has no release date to announce apart from a vague “2024”. On the other hand, a first handful of screenshots and a few previews on major media specializing in video games now make you want to see more and get your hands on the survival-tinged city builder.
A larger and more ambitious sequel
Taking place 30 years after the events of the first opus, Frostpunk 2 wants to see things bigger. If the post-apocalyptic and icy setting does not change, the player’s city, much larger, will now be agitated by internal unrest and social class concerns. Factions will thus be created, and their differences of point of view will be seen in particular in the council where the laws will be voted on. A single watchword: the city must not fall.
